Squibble

Terms of Service

Last updated · version 2026-05-30

These terms explain the deal between you (the parent or guardian who owns the account) and Squibble. Plain language first; the binding version is reviewed by counsel.

Draft — pending legal review. This is plain-language template copy to explain how Squibble works. It is not yet final and isn't legal advice; the binding version will be reviewed by counsel before launch.

1. Accounts & who's responsible

A Squibble account is owned and operated by an adult (18+) who is the parent or legal guardian of any child who uses it. You're responsible for everything that happens on your account, for keeping your sign-in secure, and for supervising the children you add.

You agree to provide accurate information and to follow these terms and our Privacy Policy and Safety & COPPA commitments.

2. Kid profiles & logins

You may create profiles for your children. We store the minimum needed — a display name and an age band (year of birth) — never a full date of birth. You may optionally give a child their own sign-in (by email or a parent-set passcode) and choose what they're allowed to do; you can change or revoke that access at any time.

For children under 13, you must complete verifiable parental consentbefore enabling a login. You confirm you have the authority to consent on the child's behalf.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to upload, create, or sell content that:

  • infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights;
  • is hateful, harassing, sexual, violent, or otherwise inappropriate for a kids' platform;
  • impersonates others or is deceptive; or
  • violates any law.

We run automated moderation and you provide a human approval step, but you are ultimately responsible for what you submit. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

4. The artwork & licensing

Your child keeps ownership of their artwork. Squibble does not claim ownership of designs.

To run the service, you grant Squibble and our production partners a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, adapt for printing, manufacture, and ship products featuring a design, and — if you choose to list it — to display and sell it in the shop. This license lasts only as long as needed to provide the service and fulfill orders; it ends when you delete the design, except for copies we must keep for completed orders, legal, or backup reasons.

You represent that the artwork is original to your child (or that you have the rights to use it) and doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.

5. Products, orders & returns

Products are made to orderby a print-on-demand partner and shipped to you. Because each item is custom-printed, we generally can only accept returns or replacements for items that arrive damaged or defective, or where we made a fulfillment error. Reach out and we'll make it right.

Colors and sizing are approximate; product previews are illustrative.

6. Selling & earnings

You may list a product for sale in the Squibble shop and set a creator margin within allowed limits. When an item sells, the buyer pays the retail price; the creator's margin (less any platform commission) accrues to your payout account, and the base cost plus platform fees cover production and operating the service. Kids never handle money — all earnings and payouts run through the parent account.

You're responsible for any taxes on your earnings.

7. Payments

Payments and payouts are processed by Stripe. By buying or receiving payouts, you also agree to Stripe's terms. We don't store full card numbers. Prices are shown before checkout.

8. AI features

Some optional, clearly-labeled features use AI (for example, a paid "AI magic" transform, or substrate removal to lift a drawing off paper). These are opt-in. Squibble's core promise is to keep your child's actual art — we never silently replace it with an AI version. AI output can be imperfect; review results before ordering.

9. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Squibble disclaims warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

10. Termination

You can close your account anytime. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms or the law. Some records tied to completed orders are retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes & contact

We may update these terms; we'll change the version and, for material changes, give notice. Continued use means you accept the update. Questions? Email hello@squibble.shop.
