Squibble

Safety & COPPA

Last updated · version 2026-05-30

Squibble is a creative tool for kids, run by their grown-ups. Safety isn't a feature we bolted on — it's how the whole thing is built.

Draft — pending legal review. This is plain-language template copy to explain how Squibble works. It is not yet final and isn't legal advice; the binding version will be reviewed by counsel before launch.

Parents are in charge

Every Squibble account belongs to an adult. Kids create; grown-ups decide. Approvals, products, listings, pricing, and all payments are parent actions. A kid can never spend money or publish anything on their own.

Automatic moderation

Photos a child uploads and the finished design are both screened by automated content-safety checks before they go anywhere. Content that fails is blocked; borderline content is flagged for your review.

The approval gate

Nothing a child makes becomes a product or goes on sale until you approve it. New designs land in your approval queue with their safety status shown. You approve, edit, or reject.

Kid logins you control

By default, kids work through your account. When you're ready, you can give a child their own sign-in — by email (a magic link) or a parent-set passcode — and choose exactly what they can do (for example, whether they may use paid AI features). You can change those powers, or turn the login off entirely, at any time; turning it off signs them out immediately.

COPPA & under-13

For children under 13 we follow COPPA. We collect only a display name and an age band, and we require verifiable parental consentbefore a young child can sign in on their own. We don't show kids ads, build advertising profiles, or sell anyone's data. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.

Data & deletion

You can delete a design, a product, or an entire child profile from your dashboard, and request full account deletion by email. We keep only what we must for completed orders and legal reasons. Reach us at privacy@squibble.shop.
